Ever dreamed of experiencing scuba diving but you are not yet certified? Book our Try-dive tour at the beautiful Daymaniyat Islands to combine an unforgettable 1-to-1 scuba try-dive with and amazing day of snorkeling!
Let us guide you on your first steps into the underwater world: Our experienced dive instructor will lead you by hand on your Introduction Scuba Dive. You’ll enjoy a dive up to 25-minute to a maximum depth of 12 meters into the beautiful underwater world of the Daymainat Island Nature Reserve Before and after the try-dive session you will enjoy an amazing snorkeling experience.
How Will My Day Look Like?
We will welcome you in our diving center at Al Mouj Marina at 8 AM. Here you can have a nice coffee or tea before heading to the boat. Your equipment will be ready for you and your instructor will give you an introductory briefing for the snorkeling and try-dive.
We will head out on our boat with a beautiful sundeck and reach the islands in around 45-50 minutes. Often we will find whale sharks already on the way to the islands and stop to snorkel with them before continuing on to the islands.
After the first snorkeling site and the islands you will now get to experience the amazing feeling of diving underwater and discover new depths scuba diving. Admire turtles, rays and colorful schools of fish up-close like never before.
Now you can enjoy a nice BBQ lunch, paired with refreshments before heading to the second snorkeling spot. After enjoying more snorkeling, we will head back and arrive in the marina around 1.30 PM.
After a long day of fun you can have a nice shower and sit in good company in our outside area to finish a perfect day. Back in the diving center we will also award you a personalized Certificate as you just become part of the scuba diving community.

Water temperature ranges a lot here in Oman. In summer we have warm water with up to 32 degrees on the surface and in winter the surface water temperature is around 26 degrees. As soon as you descend the water gets colder of course, with around 28 degrees in summer and 24 in winter.
No, we do not offer transportation or Hotel pick-up. We have free parking behind our Dive Center and if you do not have your own car, we recommend to use the Otaxi App to get the best fares around Muscat.

Yes, our trips always take Snorkelers and Try Divers as well if requested. We will visit dive sites that are great for both, Scuba Diving and Snorkeling.
We do not recommend to join the boat for Snorkeling in case of unforeseen weather changes.
We do take children on our boat from 5 years for Snorkeling. Once they reach 10 years, they can also Try Dive with us.
Yes, we do have a toilet on the boat. Toilet and Showers can also be found in the Dive Center.
Your safety is always our top priority. If the weather or sea conditions are not safe for snorkeling, we will inform you and we can reschedule the trip depending on your availability.
If you want to become a certified diver you need to take the PADI Open Water Diving Course (3 days). If you don’t have time to finish a full course, you join us on a day trip and do a Try Dive.
