Diving the Al Munassir Wreck: A Special Dive Trip to Remember!

Beneath the surface of Muscat’s azure waters awaits a thrilling adventure: Diving the Al Munassir Wreck, situated out the Bandar Khayran in Oman’s capital Muscat.

What Makes Diving the Al Munassir Wreck So Special?

Over the years, this colossal 3000-ton vessel has been transformed from a naval ship into a spectacular dive site. After being intentionally sunk in 2003, the Al Munnasir now rests at a depth of 25 to 30 meters, its once formidable structure now a thriving underwater ecosystem.

Al Munnasir wreck is a thriving marine ecosystem, teeming with a diverse array of marine life:

Yellowtail snappers move swiftly around the wreck, Honeycomb moray eels can be seen peeking out from their hideouts. Nudibranches add a whimsical touch to the scene. Giant stingrays and octopus are other notable inhabitants of the wreck, their size and majesty adding a further sense of awe to the dive.
